Ingredients Clarified butter- 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Homemade Mawa- 400gm + 250gm Sugar- 120gm + 80gm Cardamom Powder- 1/2 tsp or 2 pods of green cardamom Cocoa powder- 2 tbsp (unsweetened) Dry fruits- Almonds, cashew, pishta (fine chopped) Method- prepare for the first layer of barfi Take a wok, put on the gas on a medium-high flame, once heated the wok, add 1 tbsp clarified butter, melt it. now add 400 gm mawa and let it soft and add 120 gm sugar and dissolved it. stire it to became semi-thick now add 1 tsp green cardamom powder, mix it well. stire it for 2-3 mins more until became thick like dough. turn off the gas and pour our first batch of burfi into the grease plate or tray. Laval it and spread fine chopped dry fruits sprinkle in the level layer of burfi, fix them with the spoon helps. set aside for 1 hour. Prepare the second layer Take a pan on medium-high heat and heat it. once it heated and 1/2 tsp clarified butter and melt it. add 250gm mawa(khoya) and keep mix to get soft mawa for 2 mins. now add 80 gm sugar and dissolved it with mawa. after mawa and sugar and becomes soft add 2 tbsp cocoa powder and mix it well. break all lumps and mix them until becoming a thick mixer-like dough. turn off the gas and pour the chocolate mixer in the first layer of mawa which is set already, sprinkles dry fruits. now allow to cool and set completely for 2 hours. after 2 hours cut into the pieces as per your choice and serve it.Chocolate mawa barfi recipe - 2 Layer chocolate burfi - 2 Color mawa burfi recipe- Festival sweets recipe in hindi
